About my work

For this project I explored the idea of world building. Rather than build a whole indepth and thought out world I opted tho make it ambiguous, showing only bits, the rest undiscovered.

This peice is a mixture of 3D and textiles as I wanted everything to feel organic and natural. All pieces shown were created using already owned materials as I made a conscious effort t to reduce the waste that comes with creating art.

For me this project was personal and fun to delve into. I really wanted to create a work that was completely mine and void of self-doubt like many of my previous works. This peice represents both my interests and also my personal growth of leaving art elitism behind and enjoying myself and the process.
