My To Ectopic

This selection of paintings and supporting works, express my experience of an ectopic pregnancy. After suffering through this last year, I wanted to bring awareness to the emotional and physical effect this has on women. The three main painting surfaces are MDF and they are 4' in height and roughly 2.5' in width. All the support samples have been made from repurposed wood from old bedroom furniture. These are mixed media paintings where I have used acrylic paint, drawing inks and paint pens. These art works have been done in expressive abstract style, to communicate the physical and emotional pain and grief I went through.
