About my work

For this project I looked at escapism and how it translates within my life. The idea of escapism is presented through a three panel painting that is displayed vertically depicting an environment with personal influences from computer games, fiction and movies. These include 'The Legend of Zelda', 'Monster Hunter', 'Pokemon' and 'Lord of the Rings'.

The sculpture represents the idea of escapism through the depiction of a character in which you can be whoever you want. This work is taking influence from the sources around me that inspire and intrigue me.
